Kinda stupid, 'cos I think I know the answer - but you know those huge screens they put up in European cities in the middle of town, showing the World Cup ... ? We wouldn't have one of those in the NY/NJ areas, would we?
And what is your favourite places to watch the games at? [I think i'm going scouting tomorrow morning - maybe someplace in Hoboken.]

I dont think so, but I could be wrong. I just watch in my house. Portugal plays tommorow so im sure you could find some places in jersey that will be going crazy.

We probably don't have anything like that here, but I'll tell you Miroslav Klose, Ballack, and Pedolski are going to take Germany to the finale.

I doubt you would find anything like that here, soccer is just not big enough in the states to warrant it..
I had to watch the 1st game in standard def. because comcast didnt add espn2 HD til the second game started WTF?...
Now all the games will be in HD ...
Cant wait to see Ronaldinho play..:buttrock
jsedlak: It's catching on, man.
KR98E36: From the first 2 days, I don't think either GER/ENG will win this time round. :D
ciffy107bmw, gsrsdn: I guess it's what I'll be doing too. I don't have cable (well, not "full-blown" cable), but watch it over the net off a German TV channel.
Anyway, it's going to be a lot of fun, and I have 4-5 teams I support (for various reasons. heh.)
