The HACK 06-10-2006, 02:16 PM Found this while walking through the backlot at Irvine BMW. According to Philippe Khan, the Internet Sales Manager, the car only has 3,500 miles and they acquired it through auction.
Anyway I took a few shots...

sogood 07-18-2006, 10:34 AM On the way down for waterfest we had to get off the highway to get some gas, and as we are stopped waiting to turn into the gas station a z8 just strolls on by. I had my camera in my hands and started fumbling with it becuase I was so excited. I looked back and the light was red so I thought id be able to get a few pics, but he ended up turning right. :(
I live in a small town in NJ and we have 6 of them. One owner said "were the z8 capitol of the world" haha
The HACK 08-22-2006, 05:40 PM They have an Alpina Z8 roadster now on the back of the lot. Off-lease return, don't know if they're going to auction it or try and CPO it.

While that's true (due to packaging issues) most owners that care have fitted their cars with the Quaiffe LSD. It's only $2,500, which for most Z8 owners is pocket change.
It's no big deal.

Not really...BMW is offering a "performance" upgrade to us for $5,500 to fix a problem that they overlooked.
Anyway, that blue looks really nice...I just can't stand those wheels on the car. :dunno

They also got an Alpina Z8 roadster in silver about a month back, someone returned it at the end of a lease. I don't see it anymore but if I go to the back of the lot again I'll take a look.
hwrdcur 09-26-2006, 11:19 PM In Modesto CA, there is a never registered Alpina Z8, black with red interior. The owner drove it for 3k miles I believe, sale price is 139k......

they are IMHO the most beautiful modern car I have ever seen. I dont see anything thats shitty about them. They wont keep up with Porsche 911s of the world, but they are spectacular none the less. Topgear also doesnt like the Corvette Z06, so yeah. Top gear is not the end all be all.
