Does anyone know of a good wheel refinishing outfit in Edmonton, Alberta?

I found one place called Wheel Works, but they are charging $135 per rim to refinish.

Naturally, I want to shop around as this seems kinda high.

Any ideas?

My friend knows of a good place but i cant remeber the name right now. I will find out tomorrow and let you know

There was a discussion about this on beyond and there is this guy who does very good work and I think his prices are cheaper than the place that you mentioned.

He is a mobile guy, so he comes to your place and fixes the wheel. I'll give you a link to their website and where you can find him.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give him a call and see what he has to say. Hopefully the three piece nature of the Style 5 BBS wheels will not pose an issue even though the lip is the only area that needs refinishing.

Wheel Works does UNBELIEVABLE work.

I had two wheels that had horrible curb rash - many chunks up to 1/2" deep - (rubbed up against a median going high triple digits on the whitemud...don't ask) and one was thought to be completely unrepairable.

For less than $300 they fixed one of the wheels to absolutely perfect condition (flawless paint match, balanced, looked new) and the other one that was seriously bent they fixed to very good condition and it was able to be balanced when the tire was put on it.

Highly recommended.
