Sacramento group will meet at the Chevron off West Capitol right before the causeway at 9:00am to caravan down.

We will meet up and leave for the drive at 1:00pm.
The drive should have us done by 3 - 4:00 pm at the latest.

Two days before my b-day, w00t.

Man, I've been out of the scene for so long (I'm a 240sx guy now) after my 325i got totaled in '04, but now I recently bought myself a '91 850i 6-speed and I'm itching to take it for a spirited drive. Can't wait to see some familiar faces, and apparently a whole bunch of new ones.

I am for it...even if we meet with another group that has a meet as well...or if its on another date.

Is there another big meet going on. DO we need to change the date?
I think thats down south, i'm not sure too many people are making that trek.

I run H&R and so does a few others that go on these drives. We have e46's but there setup seems to work the best for a smoth ride and good sport driving performance.

I have H&R Sports paired with Koni SA and love the ride.

How much did you pay for the setup?

I was thinking about bringing the E36 out, then going home and getting the z06 for the cruise... My girlfriend lives 3 miles from the center, so I can leave a car at her place.

I dunno... I live in EPA, but my girlfriend is in Menlo Park and I am on Stanford Campus a time or two a week.

I mainly drive the FD and the E36, as I just bought the z06 (to replace the FD) and the XJ6 is not quite finished yet...

If you cut a hole in the exhaust somewhere before the muffler, you're going to hear a lot more engine then if the exhaust gases have to flow through the muffler.

The first picture is donner summit off old donner highway. If you are ever going to Reno, its a really fun 10 mile cruise up the hill off 80.

That's all I have to say about that. Believe me, if I had $22k we would have made a deal. I agree though, you should bring it out to the next meet; you may find a buyer.

What kind of 1/4 numbers is that putting down, do you know? I can't even imagine having that kind of powerplant in the shell of an FD. Can I ask how much it cost/how long it took to complete?

Sometimes the small meets can also be beneficial. Reason being, is that when it's a smaller crowd it's easier to meet and talk to people. I have noticed at the "bigger meets" all the groups "click up". Don't get me wrong I myself do this, but its better to get to know more people on the boards in person than just on here. :dunno

We are doing the same drive as last time with a littel twist. There will be 2 groups. 1 group will be spirited and the other a cruz. The end meeting point will be in Santa Cruze at the cafee in teh safeway shopping center.

The best way I can explain it is driving the speed limit through twisty roads. That sometimes is moving pretty fast. You can ask some of the members who have been to these drives before and ask them what the spirited group is like.

Thanks for the help, but I made my own 13mm open wrench with my dremel. I got impatience and stingy at the same time.

Oh and I was looking at the list of people coming, and I will undoubtedly be the slowest car there. The only other 4 cyl is supercharged :shifty On a happier note, I raced a C6 Z06 and lost miserably. It was so fun though.

Anyways, we hit a road block and it was funny cause the "ranger" told us to "take it easy" because the law enforcement in the surrounding counties have already been notified of our presence up here so no funny buisness:lol

Ha ha I'm right there with you except we were there for the whole meet and my friend was hella hungry so we left for like 20 mins and came back at like 12:45 and the people that were going on the drive left. Needless to say he is on my shit list. How many people when on the drive?

I thought it was pretty lame that you guys left for the drive early. Like I mentioned before I wouldn't be making the meet but would make the drive. However, I arrived at 12:40 along with some others to take the drive which was supposed to be at 1, yet everyone had already left. Others who had gone to get food and thought the drive was at 1 also showed back up but again everyone had already left. If you say the drive is going to start at 1 then it should start at 1.

I met up with the folks in Santa Cruz from the meet. Probably around 25 cars or so showed...After we cruised down the coast to Seascape Resort for some beach time...Good to meet you Sac guys...and see familliar faces as well...till next time :buttrock
