would anyone be down for a regualr SD meet? something regular over the course of the summer for us to show off our new mods or various cars or tricks and tips we've pulled?

in LA; we used to have the weekly pasadena fudruckers meet.

i'd love to see if we could get something similar together for the san diego crowd.

evenings would be best, during the days are too much work; too much heat to sit in a parking lot

I'd probably be down, but evenings? Hard to see mods and go on drives and such when it's dark.

well its not really a drive thing.

and the LA meets were always evenings, worked out just fine :dunno

if it's not evenings, no one can make it during the week (work) and weekends are usually so busy with families and whatnot. ...plus, it's kinda blistering hot hanging out in a parking lot in the middle of the summer afternoon.

Monthly is a better idea

I'd definitely be down for a regular meet. I like the monthly idea better. I've never been to a meet and they seem like a good time so hopefully we can get one going here in SD.

I'm all up for meets, but what's wrong with the weekly socaleuro meet at Fusion ? They actually get pretty good in the summertime. Two weeks ago the E30's were representing strong.

Most cars that attend the Fusion meet are Volkwagon's because they're from a volkwagon fourm, not much BMW's. Even the dude that started the threads about the fusion meet drives a Volk.

Food is good, they show some drifting video (cool). Overall, I would give it about a 7 out of 10 for the meet.

Just go to Fusion on Wed nights at about 8-9pm. There needs to be a bigger BMW presence anyways.

I have had some ideas for some summertime meets, so I will be putting that together soon. Yes I know, I havent done a meet in like a year or something, but I got some ideas now. :)

If people arent impatient weenies about it I might do a video too :stickoutt

I went to Fusion last night for the first time in years, and I was very impressed. There were at least 15 bmw's. :dunno

I'll try to be there tomorrow. I've gotta swap in my new TB tomorrow morning tho.

I head over to Fusion on occasion. But since I started a Wed night soccer league my Fusion appearances will be even less than usual, and if I do show, I'll be all sweaty and nasty, and probably in my SE-R or Grand Prix.

Yeah, I wish I could get there later, but with me being on-shift I have to be back by 8pm before all the major network maintenance happens for the night. :(

I was installing suspension and wanted to stop by when I was done but there's something about being clean and cracking open a beer that kept me at home.

Maybe next week.
