I think I can get a cheap 328 wagon which has a replacement BMW engine due to nikasil issues and now has only 30000 miles on the engine.I assume it's an easy conversion into my 94 525i but could anyone shed a little light for me?Thanks!

Hm, you are talking about a M50TU to a M52 swap. I'd ask in the E36 section, as there are a lot more M50->something else swaps over there. It may be a bit tricky in terms of OBD stuff, though.

EDIT: ah, you just said they are both 95. Nevermind about the OBD stuff. I would think the swap would not be terribly difficult.
