The final production editions of Rogue Engineering's E46 M3 exhaust have been released and I am lucky and honored to be the very first to have one on their M3.

Some details on the new exhaust as per RE:
* Fully mandrel bent tubing, no crimps or flattened areas
* 100% T-304 stainless steel construction, including flanges, internals
* Full TIG welded contruction, no lock seams or pinch welds.
* Weighs only 26 lbs. (factory weighs 54 lbs.)
* 80mm staggered, angle cut tips (fits perfectly with CSL diffusers)
* Optional 80mm Titanium Race tips
* Flow-through design does not create muffler "hot spots" found on chambered mufflers
* Optimized tubing sizes and minimized bends maintain exhaust velocity without compromising necessary backpressure
* Deep tone, without the drone. Virtually silent at idle, but appropriate tone at higher RPMs.
* Will not change ground clearance
* Will not void factory warranty
* Will not affect emissions
* No permanent modifications required for installation
I opted for the Titanium tip option since I love having something unique. At first, I wasn't that thrilled with the looks of them because of the all blue tips but after installing it I fell in love.
We also installed a prototype Section II because I wanted to be able to control the volume of my exhaust because sometimes I like having a loud, obnoxious exhaust while other times I like have a more subdued, classy sound to it. More about this particular mod later depending on development.
