Very nice! Its amazing how far simple adjustments go. What did you do there? Levels or brightness/contrast?

I think I would go one step ahead doing that effect only in the background, the car lost some details in the second pic.

Lost detail but gained contrast.

The first picture looks to dull so he need to give it more contrast.
