Has the great lakes taken back its place as the black hole for BMW enthusiast? I keep trying to get meets together but not many seem to want to join or post even :( where has every1 gone :(?

I have the same feeling. A few months ago I posted a topic to see how many people where from Cincy and I got a bunch of replys.

I would like to meet up with you and others. I would especially like to take a ride in the E60 M5.

Also, I would of met up with you at that Country club, but it was a little far for me and I had to work that night. My weekends are pretty full now. How about having a lunch meet? Anytime around lunch time in the week is fine for me. If we do meet up I don't want to drive 45 mins for lunch. The furthest I want to drive south is Blue Ash/Sharonville.

We had at least 7 e30 guys at a NASA HPDE event. It's a lot easier to get BMW ethusiants to the track then just someplace to hang out. A lot of people who do "meets" either are getting together to street race, or have a mini "show", at least locally.


There's Mid-Ohio, Grattan, Blackhawk farms, Putnam Park, Gingerman, Road America, BeaveRun, etc in the Region.

Yeah, I'm usualyl packed with work and school. Unfortunately (well not really) I just bought a condo too, so as soon as school's out and I have two days off a week again, I'll either be workin on my condo or up in bowling green with the woman.

HOWEVER, the M might just be a good enough reason for me to call off, so let me know if you get ahold of that thing for a day!

Im just always busy. I see activfoxy on occasion driving around but thats about it. As for right now, im booked solid on weekends for the next 3 straight...probably more after that...

Also, ive started seeing more young guys driving E46 M3's around here lately. A white one with natural leather and then a dark grey with red interior, but i never seem to see anyone on here with those cars. Not to mention the guy i met at Jake Sweeney BMW with a LSB E46 dropped with HM2's on it...

My time has been spent more at the track. I did a school at Putnam earlier this month and stopped by DEs at Mid-Ohio in April and May.

Maybe try to have a meet at Mid-Ohio during a Buckeye Chapter DE. There will be one the last weekend of August. Just a thought... :)

Nah, I think I was unpacking from school during it. But I should be at the Buckeye at Putnam, and possibly drop that dough for MO. And October at Putnam hopefully.

Oh btw I saw a dakar M3 with a CF hood, I wonder if that person is here or either on M3forums.....I was going south 71 and he was going north.....early morning today.....
