i talked to a dealer around here and he said around 70K but hes wasnt sure....but thas was i was told...

no friggin way. I am willing to bet the base is around $55-60. They wouldn't jump that much cause they would cut TONS of buyers out.

Base of $54-56k. You can take that to the bank.

And when i mean base I mean base....with options you will be looking at well over 60.

word from analysts say that the base will jump 10K from the E46 M base price.

BMW probably will cut back on another area since they have upgraded the engine thus leaving the base price close to where it is now of course it will be a bit more but I really doubt that it will go up more than 8k for the base price. If they jump it up to much then they will lose customers and the price of the E46 will jump up because everybody and their mother will be purchasing and E46. In the end though it's all on the shoulders of BMW and the best we can do is guesstimate.
