Nice so what did you exactly do on the car like break it down please.
Good Work.
Did a full widebody treatment on the car, swapped the wheels to the centerlock BBS magnesiums, decals, wing, roll cage, PTG colors, yellow headlights, vented hood, side-exit exhaust, modified the bumper and added CF lip, also added an FMIC since this is turbo from the factory, blacked out kidneys, and foglight converted into a brake duct intake. Not sure if this is the info you needed but it's hard to describe the step by step process since there was a lot of chopping in all areas of the car.
wow, you must have an insane amount of layers...
nice jon
Yeah, I forgot exactly how many layers these had but there were a lot. But I'm sure it can be done with a lot less than what I had. I'm still learning and having fun so maybe I'll do another one in the future.
David A 05-24-2006, 10:01 PM A few quick questions...how much time did you put into the widebody conversion and would you be willing to do a short write-up on how it is done? I've been wanting to learn this for a while now.
theruss1an1 05-24-2006, 10:11 PM Wow you are good....

chr328is 05-24-2006, 11:37 PM Sweet. Looks like the new m3 gtr race car. However, I like the factory paint scheme (white) vs. the yoko sponsored GTR.

I'm not the fastest chopper as I'm just doing this during my break time from work so I just work on it here and there when I can. There are many ways to do a widebody flares. The way I chose to do it on this one is basically copy and paste some flares from another car and tweaked it so it fits and lines up with the perspective of the image. But you can also just draw the whole flares and "brush" it all up. There's no right or wrong way, whatever looks best I guess.
Artikgrau325is 05-25-2006, 03:34 AM That is absolutely amazing, you are very talented Jonsibal!
