Hello everyone,

We are happy to open registration for the BMW CCA Club Racing School at Watkins Glen, to be held Sept 27th & 28th. This event is hosted by the Boston Chapter and registration for the Club Racing School will be online at the Boston Chapter website, NOT on the club racing website.

The three days following the race school will be a club race at the Glen, hosted by the Genessee Valley Chapter on Fri-Sun Sept 29-Oct 1. Scott and Fran Hughes, with Club Racing's support, have graciously offered the possibility of fast-track rookie licensing for mid-week CR Racing School graduates. Competition-ready graduates in possession of fully-approved and teched BMWCCA CR-series cars will be eligible for that weekend’s race. There are specific requirements (listed on the Boston Chapter website) for those people who want to get their licenses immediately and race on the weekend - read about them on the Boston Chapter website at the link above. Note: To participate in the club racing school, you need to have a drivers ed car and a helmet - you do not need a club racing-ready car. To participate in the club race that weekend, you DO need a safe race car with a full cage that will pass race tech inspection.

Please go ahead and register for this event - it is a unique opportunity to get your club racing license on Thursday and race on the weekend!
