Ze Spex:

2001 BMW E46 M3 Coupe
-41,XXX miles
-Carbon Black/Black
-100K mile engine warranty

Ze Gud:

-Car is mechanically perfect.
-Rod bearing recall performed (PROPERLY broken in afterwards).
-New clutch/flywheel @ ~25K miles (incorrectly adjusted from factory, replaced under warranty w00t!!11).
-Drive belts just replaced.
-Starter replaced.
-Dinan software really wakes the engine up compared to OEM.
-Oil changed religiously (none of that "every 15K miles" bullshit).
-Coil packs replaced.
-Complete service history and original window sticker.
-OEM 18" wheels (no tires) come with the car in addition to the 19's pictured.
-H&R Coilovers (uninstalled) come with the car.

Ze Bad:

-Small paint chip (bout the size of a pinky fingernail) on the left underside of the rear bumper. This occured in (where else) a parking lot last year (during a BFC meet, at that). It bothered me for about 48 hours until I realized that no one could see it unless I pointed it out.
-Small number of 'pits' in front bumper; you know what I mean - normal driving stuff but far less than one would expect from 40K miles. Looks perfect from 6 feet.
-Rear tires will need replacing within 6 months, I'd guess.

Ze Ugly:

-Big girls in small clothes.

Cliffs:

Exterior: 9/10, small chip in rear bumper, few pits in front bumper.
Interior: 9/10, shifter has slight wear, everything else is showroom.
Mechanical: 10/10, service is up to date and car performs phenomenally.

Car has PA plates and registration but I reside in the DC Metro area.

Plenty of members here have been in and driven the car and can attest to its condition.

Bottom line - its a solid car that looks and performs fantastically well. No worries and you know who is selling it.

$34K/OBO per market conditions.

Will definately consider interesting trades - leaning towards an AP2 S2000.

Pics below... obviously Im not a professional photographer.

PM/Email and Ill shoot you my number to chat.

Not sure yet... took a couple S2000's out today... they leave me wanting more (an engine, for example), but are still fun and allow me to reallocate a good chunck of change.

Going to take a step down either way but I hope to be back in a proper Bavarian motorcar within 18 months. :embarrasm

S2000 is a great car, I much prefer the handling of my 00 S2000 to the E36 M3 I had. The engine requires high revs to get it going and while it's not as fast as an E46 M3 it's still a 100 mph trap car which is respectable.

Dont get me wrong, the car has many merits... I just have a serious mental hangup with it because I dont want to be associated with ricers in any capacity...

When I drive the M3, 911 owners nod in approval.

When I was driving the S, Civic's with wings gave me the thumbs up. :(

Buuuuuuut... a mortgage calls.
