Hey Bimmer fans! I live in Laramie WY and it seems nobody is interested in BMW around here. I've been trying to sell my well-maintained 528 for awhile now. Maybe I'm asking too much? If anyone can drop some advice on how to navigate this market I'd be greatly appreciative.

Post it up in Roundel too (if you are a CCA member).

Have you posted it in the cars for sale forum here?

I had it advertised on Autotrader for about 5 months and got a few bites. I may have to try it again. I had it on consignment in Boulder for 6 months also. I haven't put it for sale on this site yet but I will. Truth is, it doesn't pain me to drive it, but as a condition of divorce I need to sell it.

How much are you asking for it? Market for used cars can be difficult. I sold my last car on craigslist, but it took a few months for the car before that to sell. Try the denver post, craigslist, here, autotrader and cars.com...

Thanks for the advice. I'm asking $8500, which is below blue book value for private party sale. I put it for sale on this site, and I think I'll have to put it on autotrader.com too. Is 8500 too much?

Does anyone in boulder know about first class imports? I paid them $375 to put it on consignment and it sat for the better part of the winter. I couldn't stand it anymore by May 1 so at least I'm driving the ultimate machine again!!

My sweetheart is in San Mateo (SF bay area) and I've thought about bringing it out there as well.
