Was the car in an accident? Why was the frame repaired?

Its called a sub-frame, has nothing to do with the cars acutual frame. All e46's have been known for subframe cracking in the trunk area. BMW garantees the fix with a warranty. Read-up on subframe issues due to e46 chassi's.

Car has a clean title, no frame issues ever.

I was seriously considering your car. Not only is Red/Black my number one choice right now but your extensive mods are amazing. Even at $27,000 it's out of reach with 99k miles. The warranty will even be out soon. And just for my particular situation the car will cost more with shipping and taxes.
