Hey guys, I'm in the market for my next car, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be an e36 M3 (lookin at the e46 too, but I think I like the e36). Anyway I live in Norcal, but am willing to drive to anywhere in Cali. I don't really want to buy a car out of the state because of all the paperwork etc., but I guess if the PERFECT car was out of state I might go for it if it's not too far. So to get to the point here's what I'm looking for:

- 98-99 with as low miles as possible, as stock as possible
- if it's a 98, a late production model, with the tri-spoke steering wheel
- Modena interior (LOVE this color)
- either coupe or convertible (no sedans, sorry)
- if it's a coupe, the Vader interior
- I'm not sure of the name of the wheels I like: http://www.wheelcollision.com/wccpix/59269.jpg

As of right now I'm also kinda set on the cosmos exterior, but I may change my opinion... Anyway I'm not forced to buy right now, I'll wait until I find something that I really like! I have $20k right now, but might be able to get my hands on more. Let me see your cars!

This isnt exactly what your looking for but w/the maintenance done i think it'll run better than most cars your looking at. heres the link

nightly bump... if anyone has an M3 that's close to what I'm looking for I'd consider it. I know I've been a little specific, but AM willing to settle on a thing or two.

I dont think you can find a modena interior unless its a swap because it was a euro only option. I could be wrong tho. Good luck!

to my knowledge the modena was offered in the US in 97-99. but I might be wrong on that fact. I know that I have seen many modena M3's out there, so I'm guessing that they aren't all euros... BUMP

It was available in the US, it just wasn't common. I had a Boston Green/Modena '98 I sold a few months ago.
