Gas mileage has taken a shit after I started using the E10 crap. I'd say it's about a 10% reduction in mileage. All I know is the gas in the 540 goes down real fast!

I seen about a 2 to 3mpg drop with the new gas:(

yes, hard starting is a problem with all cars, not just BMW.

But, on the upside, you can get a little more power with the E10 if you advance your timing some (since it burns slower). :buttrock

No problems, fuel mpg not affected at all. Maybe you guys just need to do a little PM??

Mine has gone down about 10% as well. Now we have to use 10% MORE gas. :mad :shifty

bike actually DIED during warm up.
:fingerboi WTF :fingerboi
it NEVER did that before

my PMR now occasionally dies at stoplights, but that's a different story. and it's actually kind of funny.

haven't filled the car since they boozed the gas (pothole downtime), so i dunno about the car peformance yet.

i'm glad you guys are havein' problems too , except you brian *shakes fist*. i couldn't quite put my finger on it , she just feels a lil different. like at stop lights and startin' to go. but the good thing is that my new cooling system still works great , i even sat in the 4-6 o'clock traffic a few days ago , and no overheating problems.

Looks like 2-3 mpg, all city traffic miles though. I am going to do some PM, gonna put on a new air cleaner and try that CRC MAF cleaner at the same time, also bought some Techron for the next fill-up. Hope it helps a bit

Preventive Maintenance, aka change your plugs, wires, air filter, get new mafs, change your oil, change your fuel filter, etc.

well... My car has actually gone up about 1.5 mpg.
But that's also about the time when I put in a drop-in sports air filter.

ah ok, i usually do all that stuff when i first get a car. but i don't think i've ever driven a particular car enough to wear that stuff out (except oil).

You might be surprised, time also wears things out, not just mileage. Sometimes time is even worse, especially if the vehicle isnt driven very much

i'm 24 dude, and i'm on my 7th vehicle since I've been 16. All my cars have been driven hard, until I got tired of them. I've put 50K miles on the miata in ~4 years, which is the most I've put on a car. It's been sitting for a couple years, so maybe there's a chance of some parts being aged whenever I start driving it regularly again. But for now, it waits. :(

I drove my car hard to waste the crappy gas so I could fill up at Tessoro. I even mentioned that in my message to the state

does anyone know if every gas station purchases their gas from them?
