View Full Version : Interested in dynoing my car Neon01 05-18-2006, 01:36 PM if there's a dyno day coming up in the Baltimore area, please post details and count me in! (provided its reasonably priced) SpeedTheory 05-18-2006, 02:00 PM My club often hosts dyno days at Pro-Motion in Fredericksburg, VA, an hour and a half or so from you, I'd imagine. $55 for 3 pulls, iirc. KCLARK 05-18-2006, 02:11 PM Theres a racing shop just south of b-more right off 95 in Jessup that has a dyno. Its called TPC Racing. I have no idea what price is reasonable to you but they charge $200 for 3 runs. I've had my racebike dyno'ed several times for $35 bucks a run, so to me their price is outrageous. If you didnt want to wait for a dyno day I suggest you check them out because all they do specialize in is racing (mainly concentrate on porsches). The owner knows some shit about M3's too, he use to race them prior to switching over to Porsche. http://www.tpcracing.us/tpc_racing_services.html KCLARK 05-18-2006, 02:12 PM My club often hosts dyno days at Pro-Motion in Fredericksburg, VA, an hour and a half or so from you, I'd imagine. $55 for 3 pulls, iirc. Even tho the place I suggested is only 35minutes away, but your price is much more like it!! Nevermind my previous post. essejM3 05-18-2006, 02:27 PM if there's a dyno day coming up in the Baltimore area, please post details and count me in! (provided its reasonably priced) I'd be interested as well, as long as it is a dynojet. NASA requirement. SpeedTheory 05-18-2006, 02:29 PM The one I mentioned is a Dynojet. essejM3 05-18-2006, 02:33 PM The one I mentioned is a Dynojet. Fredricksburg is too far for me. Neon01 05-18-2006, 03:31 PM Fredricksburg is too far for me. Its a bit far from me too, unless its on a weekend I'm heading to Lake Anna, where my in-laws have a lake house. essejM3 05-18-2006, 04:03 PM I just talke to NGP in Aberdeen. They said it is $75 for 3 runs w/o AFR, and I think he said $95 w/AFR. He said if we can get at least 10 people he'd cut us some sort of a deal. Anyone interested? Jed 05-18-2006, 04:05 PM Jessie- What about using the butt dyno? Neon01 05-18-2006, 04:12 PM I just talke to NGP in Aberdeen. They said it is $75 for 3 runs w/o AFR, and I think he said $95 w/AFR. He said if we can get at least 10 people he'd cut us some sort of a deal. Anyone interested? Definitely interested. $95 is a little steep, and I'd really want the AFR to go with it, but if we can get it down to say $75 or so I'm in. It's funny, I just posted looking for a dyno day over on Audiworld and they said NGP had one last weekend! Looks like we missed out. :( magnetic1 05-18-2006, 05:44 PM I'd be interested as well, as long as it is a dynojet. NASA requirement. Jesse, when do you plan on having your first event? James is a stand up guy IMO. I've been going there with my brother since I was like 10 years old, never had a problem. He did 5 motor swaps for my brother and countless installs, dyno tuned 10+ times and never had a problem. BTW, it's a Dynapack dyno. Andy 05-19-2006, 10:31 AM How so? James is a stand up guy IMO. RedNeckNinja 05-19-2006, 11:50 AM Im in for A Dyno Day anywhere within 100 miles of DC. Im sure I can get at least 1 other to join me. $65 for three pulls with A/F sounds reasonable. Where at exactly? Is it on 40? About a minute off of 40, on Perryman Road (I think that is the name). Neon01 05-23-2006, 09:28 AM About a minute off of 40, on Perryman Road (I think that is the name). Yep, from 95 you get off on rt 543 east (exit 80). Take this to rt 40 and turn right. Rt 40 north/east to right onto Spesutia Drive, then take it all the way to Perryman Rd and turn right. Follow the road (it makes a turn) for about 3/4 of a mile and NGP is on the right. As before, I'm in if the price is $70 or less w/ AFR. essejM3 05-23-2006, 11:24 AM 1. essejM3 2. Neon01 Bav///Man 05-23-2006, 11:28 AM any way we can do one not North as fcuk?
