I heard that there is different ways for traction control to be off, when you push DSC that only DSC turns off and not the other ones. Someone said if you hold down the DSC button after pushing sport button or something like that turns all of the traction controls off. Then, the only way to turn it back on would be to turn off the car and then turn it back on. How exactly do you do this?

It does not apply to the E46 M3. Non-M cars if you push the button once it disables the ASC but leaves the CBC enabled. If you push and hold the button it will disable the ASC and CBC. You'll know because the standard light will be on the dash and the BRAKE light will be illuminated yellow.

Note: This only applies to non-M vehicles

Note 2: ASC + CBC = DSC

so on the m cars the DSC button pretty much turns everything off?

one push turns it off, one push turns it on... that's all there is to it.

except for ZCPs with the extra TC mode...which is prety much a delayed TC interference time...
