Well, I leave tomorrow night. Kind of dissapointing that there really is nothing to do in this city.

Met a few girls at the hotel, and even they say they are bored most of the time. What is it with this place?! :stickoutt

hahaha yeah..... the burgh is not the most exciting place to be. There's some great bars around though, you just have to know where to find them. I live an hour east in the middle of the country, and there is really nothing to do here as well. But thats why we throw huge ass parties. Good look on finding something.

btw - I'm moving to cali in december, so hopefully it'll be more exciting then here lol

I think you're rationalizing there a little. I think Pittsburgh is a great city

I never said pittsburgh was not a great city, I personally love it so much. But, it seems as far as a younger night life town, it doesnt have the most to offer. There's not lots of clubs, the public transit is not anywhere close to other city's, and there's just not as many young people as a place such as boston.

Now the thing that is great about the city is that its just a great place to have a family. The crime is low, and its a place where you can feel comfortable having your kid walk around forbes or walnut street without supervision. The people are also great, and if you ever do get in a brawl with someone just say "go steelers!" and your best friends. It also seems like a city where there's lots of room for success, housing is dirt cheap, and the basic costs of living are resonable.

I was born and raised in shady side, and I'll be very tempted to raise my kids there someday. My dads company is also based there so thats another attractive feature for me. But for younger people, its sometimes hard to find things to do, especially if your from out of town.

Yea, the night life for younger folks isn't that bad, but it could be better.
