I've searched this forum and several others for a write-up on how to replace the water pump on my 1998 528i. I can find some stuff for a 1997 but things look a bit different. I can also find all kinds of stuff for the 3 series. Can anybody point me toward a write-up or some sort of diy instructions for replacing the water pump and/or thermostat for my car? TIA.

the 328 and the 528 have the same engine so i think its the same procedure to replace the h20 pump and thermostat.
