Don't you have to go to a state certified place? Should be a list somewhere on the MD site...

I called the Automobile Safety Enforcement Division and was able to find 1 contact in Harford County that does this testing.

Speedometer Certification
410 836-9691

He is by appointment and uses radar to test.

I will let you know how it works out. I'm headed over there tomorrow.

Scho... I'm doing an M3 cluster swap with a local and I was wondering what all is done by you guys when you calibrate it or whatever. Will I be able to transfer my mileage to the M3's cluster?

if you have one of those GPS devices (I use Streets and Trips on a laptop or Pocket PC) it'll tell you your speed.

If its for court I can tell you from experiance that generally they are not off by more then 5MPH and normally on the high side (gauge reads 55 actual is less)
