Did BMW use a clear four button remotes (with roman numerals)? My remote was stolen. I know it had a BMW emblem but the stealer said they only use black.
I replaced my battery and now the alarm won't stop. Is there a way to reset with out the remote?????
TIA.

Usually you can put your key in the drivers door and unlock it and that will disable the alarm, but if it's not a stock alarm then that might not be true.

Sorry for the confusion.
The remote was stolen 6 months ago. I had to replace the battery yesterday. The car seems to think it's being broken into but it was unlocked when I replaced the battery.
I tried unlocking the driver's side with the key. Thanks for the input.
