On drop ships that might be a possiblity, but the cost of the bars plus the cost of shipping them from UUC to me plus the cost of shipping them to the customer makes $325 shipped unrealistic.

I can get pretty PHAT deals on Eibach stuff in case a supporting vender doesn't come in with something decent. Looks like UUC is out, thank goodness. So, if RD or TMS cannot come through, I'm gonna jump on my Eibach deal.

Someone just told me that RD sport sways are the same as the Eibach kit... can anyone confirm this? If it's true, then I'm jumping all over the Eibach kit, and can probably get a group price if needed.

they use eibach shocks and eibach race springs(obviously). Though theyre of "high quality" i hear that eibach lacks the dampening knowledge needed for a race app. coilover. if yorue asking for specifics, the bump is good but when rebounding, theyre under dampened.

H&R springs are made from high-strength spring steel, and are wound in a way that makes them the longest lasting and best performing stabilizer bar made. When you have a factory as big as H&Rs, you can just DO things that other companies can't, and that's why their bars are the best. If you guys want to do this, I will check on availability and timeline tomorrow (H&Rs North American headquarters is 2 hours from me - I can have them immediately).

I can do this only one time as a new Supporting Vendor. H&R seriously frowns on GBs, and so I will do this as an "Grand Opening Special" as a new Supporting Vendor (even though my Grand Opening won't be until 8/1 :D ).

I think you are supposed to install the reinforcements on all non-M e36's

from what I hear any exhast shop can install them... just what I hear maybe someone who has done it can chime in????

The Sway Barbarians do NOT require reinforcement plates, however it is recommeneded.

If you chose to go with the the reinforcement plates you will need to have them welded in. They do not bolt on.

Go to UUC's website. Under setup instructions there's a chart.

I'll know in a week or so if I can afford this. But I do want it so I'll let you know. Unfortunately I dont have the funds atm.

If doing it one's self front are a snap - bolt on... easy, no modifications...

the rears are trickeir as they require you to remove the wheels in order to replace the rear end links (which are included in the kit) - the end links do not need to be welded (however it is recommended you have reinforcement plates welded up on the rear brackets that hold the sway bar to triangulate them to the subframe, to prevent the brackets from weakening and breaking)...

We offer the TMS reinforcement plates at KO at a discount... (link to be provided soon in this thread)

also, labor charge for a shop to do it is typically 1-2 hours labor.

In looking at your site, I can't even access H&R's or virtually anything for Z3's. If you have a catalog which extends beyond what your site shows, I'd be interested as this is just the beginning.

as far as our site... we know its not that deep in some categories, however we carry sooooo many parts you wouldn't believe it. We've got our online catalogue up to 1000 parts now (just use the search at the top of each web page to pull up stuff already available for e-com) and we carry the full lines of AA, TMS, UUC, Eisenmann / Eisenhaus, VF, Victory Product Design and more.

We also carry the entire line of BMW OEM and Genuine parts. If you have a part # you want a quote on, just email it if it's not in our database (from the search) then I'll quote you and add it to the database.

We hope to have about 30k parts online with model selectable catalogue (think bav auto) within another month... so then it'll be much easier, but our developers aren't done with the back-end yet.

fyi - UUC tenative target is 9/1 for the sway links :(... but the good news is, for thos saving up, I have 3 sets from the GP still available.

JPK -- I sent the email concerning the sway bar request per your suggestion and never heard back. I know you are busy but I'm still wondering what you may be able to do pricewise on this.

it is recommended you have reinforcement plates welded up on the rear brackets that hold the sway bar to triangulate them to the subframe, to prevent the brackets from weakening and breaking

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of this do you? I'm definitly considering pulling the trigger on the sways, just want to make sure I know how to do the reinforcements correctly

Do you need sway bars? H&R has sways for the E90. 27mm front, 20mm rear. Neither are adjustable. Front would be $245, shipped (MSRP $299 + shipping). Rears would be $160, shipped (MSRP $189 + shipping).

I spoke with UUC today... they are supposed to get a shipment of endlinks in tomorrow, but they will let me know. Hopefully I can start getting you guys tracking #s tomorrow. :)

#2 - thanks to Greg for the UUC Sways GP (that makes 9!), and also purchasing the TMS reinforcements, as well as a set of floor mats and an x-brace for his m3! x-brace and mats are shipping today!

Sorry we weren't able to get back to you in a timely fashion. I'm glad you were able to get an order in though.

You would have had a back log through us though as the H&R bars are on national backorder when we called about them working on your inqiury.

Again, sorry we didn't get back to you in a timely fashion, but we're glad you were taken care of even if we weren't the one's to do it.

I asked for a refund, and was told I would be able to get one -10%, I was glad to get that and was told a check would be issued and sent to me. That was over 2 months ago. Ive sent several emails inquiring about this situation and have had no response. Could you please update me on what is going to happen with this.

I'm looking for just an upgraded front swaybar, possibly from the UUC GP? I'd also take a TMS front (preferred), but at this point don't really care which I get. PM me details/pricing etc. if it's possible. Bummed that so many compaines offer sets only and don't offer individual.

For the record, I only want the front as I want to keep my car stock class legal for autocross.
