Since I saw these headlights, I've thought about doing it more and more. Now I've decided I'm going to try. Does anyone have an old headlight or two laying around that they'd be willing to sell cheap or free? :D Working or not. I'd pay for shipping and whatever else is needed. I just don't wanna experiment with the only pair I have. I figured I'd ask you fellas first, and if nothing else, I'll start calling junkyards. I already got some various size CF sheets coming, I just need to find the lights.

I think the junk yard is your best bet..unless you convince come bfc member to send you something extra. Maybe if you offer them the service of the 1st cf 7 serie lights??

Those are for the E46 M's. Traynewreck is trying to custom-fab his very own unique headlights at the moment.

Thats why he made this very post...in order to get a donor set to wrap cf around and see the results. :shifty

Yes, I am fixin to try. I don't have the link at work with me, but I found a place that has varying thickness CF sheets. I ordered a few different ones to see which one will work the best. It's gonna take a few weeks to get here because of a industry wide shortage. I'm gonna start calling junkyards today.
Hopefully I will know within a month.


And yes, I will do up someone's lights for free if it works (which I think it will). I was hoping someone had something that doesn't work they hadn't thrown out yet. I don't need them to work to try it.
