I just finished changing out my head gasket and am on the final stages of bolting the cylinder head down. My question is, in the Bentley manual, it says to torque the cylinder head down in 3 stages. I forgot what the first stage was, the second was 58lbs-ft, and the third stage was another 35 degrees. Now, does anyone know what the extra 35 degrees translate to in lbs-ft? What's the total torque?
