www.eurorev.com in socal is the distributor from what they (luff) told me... If this thing goes through, i'll be jealous as hell :stickoutt . I've been saving my pennies for this one, but i'm not quite ready yet.

Hey everybody,

I'm a shop owner and have been on here for awhile just reading up on things and joining in on some threads since I bought my 1999 Estoril M coupe last year, but I've never posted to get sales.

I am however a Luff dealer and just setup the account a little while back because I was interested in the wheels myself. Not sure if I can help out with a group buy or how it works on BF since I've never read up about it or talked with a mod, but I'd like to put one together if possible. I'll read and see if I just have to have a mod approve me to do a GB or do you need to be a supporting vendor?

Rob

Ok, it looks like a member here can do a GB through a non-supporting vendor if approved. If someone here (97CosmosM3 ?) would like to get it approved and put things together I'll work with them and see what can be put together for a GB. I know I'm a member too, but the rules just mention a member going through a vendor and while I talk to myself sometimes it might be best to stick to the way it states.

jonjon0nline
05-17-2006, 08:18 PM
You have to contact a mod to approve the GB or they'll shut it down. Just PM Kevlar.

Also, does Luff offer these in 17?

97CosmosM3
05-17-2006, 08:21 PM
Looks like these wheels only come in 19's or 20's. I don't think many people are interested in these sizes, but if enough are still interested I'll contact an administrator to try and get the approval. So who's still interested at these sizes?

jonjon0nline
05-17-2006, 08:28 PM
Yeah, I wouldn't mind setting this up and contacting admin if they offer in 17" :)

SoonToBeM3

19's or 20's??? :confused You must be talking to the wrong people. I know for a fact they come in 18's and I think 17's as well. Looks like we'll just have to keep looking.

Yeah I've definitely seen reps in 18's but AEI///Mcoupe mentioned specifically Luff wheels, which according to their website, only come in the 19 or 20. Do you know who actually makes them in 18s?

Yeah, Luff only carries the LM look wheels in 19 or 20. I really wish they had them in 18 as well because I'd definitely get them. As of now I'm still on the fence about 19's on my M coupe. It would be just for show and I would throw the 17's on for the drag strip or if I get the car up to Gingerman this year. I carry a lot of other wheels but off the top of my head I don't think I deal with anyplace that carries LM reps in 17 or 18 except for the real deals.

I am very intersted. i just spoke to them..but i need a staggerd setup. 19's...

AEI///Mcoupe
05-23-2006, 08:34 PM
I'm pretty sure that Luff doesn't offer tire packages, only sells wheels and they would be drop shipped to you. I can get tires shipped to you though and you could have them put together when you get them. I won't do anything on BF unless it gets approved. Hopefully there are some others interested also.

after OCW reconfigures it's new physical location and all phone lines are up, internet, etc., we may be able to support this GB after we reinstate our supporting vendor status.

we only have access to these in 18x8.5, 35mm offset, 72.6mm centerbores
(e36/e46 specific, sorry all e34/e39/e38/e30 owners). we can get them in hypersilver/polished lips and gunmetal/polished lips. pricing would depend of course on volume but could be as low as $675/set + shipping w/at least 10-15members in.

morganbressler

I am TOTALLY down for that. If possible, 700$ a set, or even better 675$ would be awesome.

Might do better if some one asked for a BBS sale and not just LM. I would rather have RS-GT.

Does anyone know where I can get LMs in 18" staggered for an E36? I spoken with Tire Rack and Bimmerworld and they both tell me its not available.

I bet if someone produced a 17" replica they'd be a hit. I just bought new tires and DO NOT want to spend even more for 18" tires.

i second that, i really want some for my e30, but 18s on that car are too big for it, it needs some 17's

damn if you made a set of 18's with a staggered setup i would totally buy it.

Obviously since I started this thread, I would have been totally down for those 18" reps...they look great. But I got anxious and got a deal on some axis supermesh which I'm completely satisfied with.

But BUMP anyways for some nice reps.

If I am unsatisfied with the CSLs I ordered; I'll put cash down on a set of 18x8.5 LM's immediately, staggered or not. Just depends though. :)

Disregard this post. I am keeping the CSLs.
