its for an m50 to make it fit in an e30. We have one left over from the m20 but it wont work. :(

Good luck finding one with out a premium price, key to the M/S 50's swap and everyone wants one. Did you try other dismantlers? I missed out on one on ebay by $22.00 I bid $100 and forgot I even bid on it and was out of town $122+25 to ship. I did get a 140amp Alternator from the guy for $125 shipped.

You didn't check hard enough. He has a few, just not detached from the motors in the cars. Bring a piece of wood, a jack, and some wrenches and go get your pan. I saw 2 or 3 complete 525 motors last weekend in wrecked cars in the yard. You and I both know he doesn't always know his inventory off the top of his head. ;-)

I remember seeing a non-vanos M50 there too.

Adeel, if you are going, ask him how much he wants for the bottom end to the M50 that you are getting the oil pan from.
