Hey I Smogged My Car When I Bought My 325iS About 7 Months Ago, It Had An Intake When I Bought It, Dont Know The Brand, But I Couldnt Find The CARB Sticker, So I Took It Around The Corner To The ARCO, And He Didnt Even Ask For The Proof Of CARB. And I Passed, Well Barely. Passing Is Passing.

i downloaded and printed that exec order from the CA DMV, its for the DINAN but will probably work if the mechanic isnt too much of an asshole.

I used the ECIS order for my Eurosport intake. It worked.

will the dinan eo work for a cosmos intake? on the order, it says 3.5" tubing, but at the VERY bottom it has to note that it comes in CF or aluminum :mad

OK did anyone else notice that the 328 is NOT listed on the third page of the executive order for Dinan? WTF?!?!?!?!?!

No Freakin Way! What made him want to say hi to you? Just put the stocker in for a second, go get it signed off, then swipe it back in. Thats like just 10 mins for the swap in and out and in and out again and then use of your own time to go to the police station.

Pulled over for intake.....Lame..... Make the story better by saying you got pulled over accidentally cause your Bmw was reported as the same make and color that was suspected of robbing a jewelry store or sumthing. That'd be neato.

Can anyone verify if it is CHP who is writing most of these tickets?

They may be doing an unannounced run on cars that look modified or particular car types. It's been done before where they will concentrate a sweep for awhile to scare people and make their point.

Getting caught with a fake sticker could mean jail time.

I understant coming here to bitch about a bored cop who has NOTHING else to do, but if you want a CARB sticker, maybe post a request for one in the "General" or "OT" or both of the E36 sections. I'm sure there are people still getting these intakes from other states that would be more than happy to sell the sticker to you for $20.
