I've been searching craigslist, are there any other sites you all would recommend? Anyone have a 250/500/older600 they are looking to get rid of? Cosmetics aren't important.

This city is just too dangerous in owning a crotch rocket. M3Bill 05-02-2006, 02:17 PM Good luck on driving a bike in Atlanta. This city is just too dangerous in owning a crotch rocket. Or a manual powered bike, for that matter. :( count_schemula 05-02-2006, 04:03 PM Good luck on driving a bike in Atlanta. This city is just too dangerous in owning a crotch rocket. I rode a bike daily for 3 years in the mid 90's. I would not even try it now. Weekends are arguably worse than weekdays. Heavy traffic all day long, and more absent minded drivers thinking about shopping and shit. I don't even really feel safe in my car anymore. Matt 05-02-2006, 05:54 PM Riding in the city isn't so bad. Think of it as an adventure, and don't be afraid to exert your accelerational superiority over the cagers. And don't get a bike until you already know how to ride. :rolleyes Matt John 540i6 05-03-2006, 09:20 PM i totally agree with matt. Riding a bike is one of the best feelings. Well, maybe just a really good sense of false freedom. There are way too many soccer moms that cut me off and almost hit me in my bimmer much less what they could do to a bike. Sooner or later I'll own a bike. |
