OK, Anyone need a cheap driver?
1986 325e. 192k miles. Red with Black Leatherette interior. Automatic transmission that shifts well. Runs well and drives well.
Basically, this is a cheap beater that's easy on regular unleaded.
Paint has been redone and is presentable. Side Moldings were also squirted. Interior isn't too bad at all really, driver's seat bottom has a seam split open, glovebox must have tried to swim back to Germany along with the trim panel under the steering column.
Manual sunroof, it works.
Power windows, 3 out of 4 work properly, the right front one goes down well, needs some help going up, I doubt it's just a clip, assume a bum motor and/or regulator.
I havent gone through the car mechanically other than to tell that it runs, drives, starts, stops and appears roadworthy. Assume that, as it's an old car, that you can find ways to throw money at it. Anyone who says otherwise of a car like this is lying.
I have not seen any rust.
There is no radio in the car, I know.. heartbreaker.. no old tape deck ;)
At $850 I'll throw in a JVC CD Player.
AC is not cold.
Tires are decent 185-70-14s. Bottlecap alloy wheels.
Battery is just a few months old.
I'll get pics up by tomorrow night.
Overall this is a great beater or cheap driver, for that it's wonderful. I'd assume it should get a new timing belt only because I have absolutely no service records with the car.
