275 won't fit up front, unless you roll fenders and have some REALLLLYYYYY stiff springs/shocks

interesting, I thought it was Champion that made the Dinan wheels... actually the Company formarly known as SAC wheels, which is now Champion.

Not sure where I heard this, but it was my understanding that you could not use Dinan wheels on an Aftermarket Coil-Over Suspension.

What is your offset in the front with 19x9.5 with 275/30/19?

Yes, because of the offset and strut clearance on coilovers you would not be able to run the Dinan wheels with coilovers. But without coulovers its definitly possible to run 275's up front with the offset that Dinan runs. However, I have no idea what that is. My guess would be about 40 mm offset.

I know that Fikse produced the wheels for Dinan for years. When I was there last month for a tech session they had a Mini S with one-off wheels from a local builder. So they do use other wheel manufacturers to build wheels. But I think the question here is what the offset is to run such large tires up front.

FWIW - I have seen an M3 setup for autox with GC c/o and 265s up front. The wheels were the SSR Comps.

What he said...

DINAN does sell a 275/30/19 (f) and 285/30/19 (r) rear tire package, but I do believe they do not lower their car as much as the rest of us.

SAC wheels used to make the wheels, Champion's founday (or whoever they use over in Japan) now makes the wheels for DINAN.

I run Dinan S2 Package and have 265 in front. Judging by the space left, I would think that you can fit 275's. Dinan claims that certain tire manufacturer can be fited w/o modifications (I assume that would be Michel. Pilots).
It is not visible on the rim what is the Off-Set on it, try contacting Dinan and ask. They would give your best answer Dinan Wheel (http://www.dinancars.com/Series.asp?Series=14&Chassis=10&Model=9&Class=Chassis%20Tuning#137)

that is what I run as well with the RG-4s, and 275r... I have the full GC setup as well. the ETs are 37f 25r.

Would you say that you could fit the extra 10mm of thread in the Front and the Rear with those offsets?

with the GC set-up, and as low as I am, I doubt that I could get much more under the wheel well than I have there now... without serious rolling anyway.

but I didn't want any more anyway. I was trying to achieve neutral handling, which I have.
I fuguer that 275 in back is about as much as I am comfortable with considering the rear end was not designed to handle the extra loade continuously... or maybe I am just being too conservative.
