Weather was marginal, and Matt was COLD most all day long, but saw some sweet cars and good racing.

Jaguar XJ-13, absolutely gorgeous.

Finally, a sweet 190E 2.3-16 we saw. This was made to compete with the E30 M3 back in the day.

Nice pics. I was going to come down for it, but I was way to hung over and it wouldn't have been as fun, being as cold as it was.

I had gotten home a little after 5am saturday night (sunday morning) so the pounding on our door by brian at 9am was kinda shitty.

Could you tell what kit it was from or was it a one off? Shame Jag didnt build more than 1 which stays in their museum.

You know as much about it as we do, sadly. It was HAWT.

The XJ-13 looked pretty authentic. Me & Matt were trying to figure out what it was yesterday, completely ignoring the license plate...:confused

There are usually some money Jags at the Mitty. For a couple years or so, somebody brought out an XK-SS. OMG, that might be one of the prettiest cars EVER. He would even leave it sitting out in the rain.

I think my dad said there are only a few left in the world, and are valued at $1 million-plus. When I saw the arse-end of that one, I thought it might be an XK-SS, but alas it was not.

Nice pics, but that is not a Shelby GT350. That is a coupe cloned up as a shelby. Shelbys were fastbacks (and in later years, convertibles), not coupes.

:)

This is what a shelby should look like.

A very cool car. I remember reading about someone duplicating it by hand and spent $$$$$$ doing it. One of the best looking cars from england. I cant remember the full history, but the orginal molds etc used to form the skin were destroyed in a fire or something. The orginal was wrecked and it took them great effort to rebuild it for the Museum. There are a few kits out there plus a small handfull of one offs built for super rich collectors etc. My ideal dream garage woudl start with one of those, GT40 and Muira P400SV.
