I've been lurking the show & shine section for a few months now and I'm ready to tackle my paint issue. I'm new to claying but will quickly learn next weekend. I have a 99 cosmos M3 (sig) that looks a bit neglected. The previous owner let it sit outdoors for a good 6 months with very little driving. I have a pinnacle clay kit coming soon, I was going to follow that up with Klasse AIO and a few layers of SG. What next? I want a deep wet look that will last. Any suggestions appreciated! :help

I'm removing all moldings and emblems for this too (moldings are being painted and new black/white emblems installed)

If you don't have swirls then Klasse AIO then a few layers of SG (spaced out 24 hours apart at least) will be good if topped off with a carnauba wax. It is important that the wax doesn't contain cleaners because it will strip the SG. If you do have swirls that you wish to get ride of (AIO will hide/cover very light swirls) you can look into an abrasive polish and you can check the sticky at the top because there are many different polishes out there. Hope this helps.

I'm assuming that on a 99 you're going to have some swirls. If that is the case hopefully you already have a PC, and you could pick up SSR 2.5, and 1, or Menzerna IP and FP, or Optimum Compound and Polish, just to name a few variations. The majority of the final look you will get comes from the prep work. That's why its important to take care of the swirls and any blemishes you can before waxing/sealing. However if you want a wax for a deep wet look, my favorite right now is Natty's Blue from Poorboys. Once you are done layering SG just top it with NB, but don't use it untill you are satisfied with your layers of SG, as SG will not bond over a carnauba wax.

not too many swirls and I do have a PC. I'll give the Natty's Blue from Poorboys a shot.
