I know I'm going to catch hell for this from you guys, and my insurance company, but.....
For the second time since owning this car, I have torn (not completely) off the front air dam/spoiler. (The car is lowered by a Hamann sport suspension kit). Both times it was cause by me parking over one of those parking curbs that are attached by rebar. When I back out of the parking space...RIP!
This time, I want to replace the spoiler with an after market one that may not have the 'lip' hanging down that catches these 'curbs'. Otherwise, if I'm going to replace the spoiler anyway, I'd like to upgrade to an after market one.
I've seen a few on this website, but the topics/links are gone!? I did a search and couldn't find anythig. WTF?
Can I get some input/recommendations on an aftermarket replacement? I know what most of them look like by online picture, but what do the people who own them have to say?
Thanks guys for any info...and try to be kind, my girl is hurting.

If you have the stock spoiler and are tearing it off you need to re-learn to park like I had to.

I use the bottom of the mirror in relation to my view of the curb to keep my nose off of the concrete curbs. Takes a bit of thought every time you park though.

I am lower than you with H&R springs and have a protruding lip to boot:)
It is the same height as the original spoiler but 18" farther forward.

Thanks for the 'mirror trick' Terry. It's either that or just back-in everywhere I park! :)
I like the look of your front spoiler. I think the 850 is too bulky and blunt for my taste. What brand is your's?

You are welcome.

It is the original Wings West fiberglass version. It has been called a Cow Catcher but it has grown on me:)
