Wax doesn't remove the swirls. Polish removes swirls. Look at the sticky at the top of the forum for recommendations on what to use.

probably a light cutting pad to remove the swirls with a cutting polish. There are many out there so take your pick. A popular pre-wax polish that can be applied with a polishing (white) pad is the Klasse AIO which is followed by hand applied Klasse sealant glaze. Finally, take your pic of a carnauba wax to top it off.

so

-wash/dry
-clay
-polish
-fine polish
-wax

does that sound right enough?

basically same thing different names. poorboys is really good stuff. I would go with that. Also quality microfiber cloths for removing wax and drying etc.
