Do i really need to do the mezerna finishing polish now?

Not if you think it's as good as it's going to look. What pad did you use IP with? I'd take it out into the sun to make sure there's no hazing. If not you can apply your LSP. If so, I'd hit it with FPII and a polishing pad to clear up any hazing.

On my estoril, it is almost impossible to find any hazing with IP and a cut pad. I can find some very slight micromarring though, so I go over again with PO106FF (basically FPII).

It all comes down to if you are happy with the results as they are. You can always go back to it too.
