i've got my idle control valve hose still going into my intercooler charge pipe, but i'm upgrading to new 2.5" polished IC piping and getting rid of the black crap i've been using. What can I do with that hose in the picture that comes from the ICV and normally goes to the intake piping? Can I block it off? or can I route it to my intake side of the turbo between the filter and compressor?

It has to be AFTER the MAF since the air has to be metered, and it can be in a boosted pipe like it was. I'd say keep it just like it is now and you should be fine.
**That other hose that comes from the valve cover (PCV), that cannot see boosted air; looks like that's what it does right now. If that gets boost then it will pressurize the crankcase of the engine and the turbo seals will get blown out, etc...it's bad. Make sure that is pre-turbo, but the ICV hose can be post turbo and has to be post MAF.

alright thanks for the ICV info. I already changed that PCV hose over to a greddy catch can and it's just breathing into atmosphere VIA a small filter, but I'm going to route it into the new 3" intake after MAF. The new lower intercooler piping from the turbo to the front is pretty low though. Almost seems like a nice chunk of something in the road would bust it all up.
