At the track last week, I burned through the last set of track pads I have. The first problem with buying a new set is that I just ordered a Stoptech BBK. The problem is that Stoptech is a bit backordered, so my BBK won't be here until after my next track day. Now, I don't want to have to buy a set of track pads for my stock brakes just to use them one day and have to sell them.
So I am wondering if there is anyone who has a set of Hawk HT-10's or the like that have enough pad for just one or two more days. I'd like to get those from you if you have them. Anyway, PM me if you have em and we'll see what we can work out . . .

eh... I would suggest either a new set of pads or some new cheapo pads from the local autoparts store. either way, worn pads or cheap pads are going to allow more heat to get to the caliper and we all know what that does.

I have a set of new cheapo pads on the car. However, I've used them on the track and they fade horrendously.
There's nothing wrong with using a set of used track pads provided they have enough pad left. Even if it does allow more heat to the caliper, it would only be for one day, and then right after that their getting replaced by a set of stoptechs. :confused

good luck on the search. I had some 1/2 used mystery pads but I think I'd rather throw them away than you use them and have fade. I would suggest you to check out those titanium pad insulator things that bimmerworld is selling but you're going to stoptech brakes. Just over night some hawk blues or performance friction stuff. its not all that expensive and definately worth it over having fade.
btw, pics of the stoptechs are in order when you get them. are they going to fit a 17"?

I am getting the 332mm set, and they will fit under a 17" wheel. I'll definitely get some pics to show them off once I get them on. :)

If the 95 M3 (I'm guessing you need pads for) has the same pad as the 325is from the same year, then I have some Pagid Oranges with a few sessions left on them.

The 325i pads will not fit, the M3 has significantly larger brakes.

I have a set of Spec VR's in Stoptech ST40 fitment with ~40% left.

I have a set of Porterfield R4 track pads sitting in my garage. The fronts have 3 track weekends on them (2 in an e36, one in an e46, if that matters to you), and the rear pads have 2 weekends on them since the rear pads on e46 m3's are different than e36's.
I'd be willing to let them go pretty cheap since I have zero use for them now.

I've got some old VR Spec in E36M3 fitment. They're emergency pads for me...enough for one track day and not much else. When is your next event? I would let them go for pretty much the shipping charge.

OK, I sent PM's to the new posters in the thread. Just FYI, I need these before May 12th.
