Well, since Tunerworks' site is not really functional, I sent an email to Bobby (after some people here said he was a good guy).

He replied quickly with what turned out to be the best prices on Axxis Ultimate brake pads.

I called him up (talking to a person in this day and age- who'd have thought? :eek: ) yesterday afternoon, and after taking my CC number, he said that the pads would ship out today. He took the time to talk to me, looked into a few other things for me, gave me some advice, etc... Never did I get the impression that he was pressured to hang up and get to the next customer or something.

Props to Tunerworks for quick and courteous service. Certainly beats finding «the» deal in the US and then get it in the ass tenfold with customs and brokerage fees and taxes (newsflash : writing «gift» doesn't always work).

Why do you say that? Rob knows more about E36's than the top 5% of people on this site, I would say.

i asked him to order a bunch of stuff for me worth about $8000 and he never returned my call....ever. this is also after waiting 2 months for the clutch i ordered. i found the service to be horrible. i know a couple of other guys who feel the same. not that that is the point.
