I was thinking of buying a 2000 323I HAMANN 5-SPEED E46 4-DOOR . The car is in immaculate condition. Looks like it has never been driven, but the one thing that I do not like is that it has 119000 miles. Should that be a deal breaker for me or what? The price will be from $10,000 to $12,000. I would like to hear some feedback on this telling me what to lookout for or if I should get it.

Edmunds.com shows $10,000 if dealer. If the car has many options, then $10,000 private party is probably right. I would not pay $12000.:nono

Edmunds is about as reliable as an American car.
IF the car has been maintained, the miles shouldn't scare you. if it hasn't been, then don't buy it. You want to get something that has the records, and an owner who knows whats up. Take it to a certified mechanic and pay the 100 bucks for him to look it over. They can tell you how it's fairing.
Look to get closer to 10. If you get 12 you will be over paying, but not by too much.

Thank you all for your response. The car will come with it's service records and from what I have seen in the pictures and read, It has been pampered. I will try to see it tomorrow and take it to a shop for inspection. With any luck I will get the same day, if the shop tells me what they think.
what the others said and good luck.

Like Silverbeam said, that $100 or so for a BMW or independent tech is money well spent if you're serious about the car... also don't forget the CarFax to make sure it doesn't have any accidents or "previous lives"...
The cost of adding on the Hamann parts is not as expensive as finding out the car has a salvage history...
Good luck!
