So... my car has been out in the elements for the past year or so while at college and has accumulated quite the assortment of swirls/faint scratches/random crap even though I wash/wax every couple weeks.

Next month I will be moving into an underground garage at my new apartment and want to try to get my car in the best shape possible before then.

So far I have only been using my hands to try to polish the cars which is not very effective so am looking for someone who has a little experience using a random orbital or some sort of machine to really get at these swirls. Anyone willing to help me out next weekend? (May 6/7) I can bring supplies/food/beer/anything else needed.

If no one is availble to help out, any ideas what shops I can go to to get it done. I live in the Boston area.
