the problem is that the gas stops pumping even though the tank has not been filled.

took it to the dealer and they said they replaced the tank and it should have been fixed, except that it still happens now and then.

has anyone had this problem?

I'd like to get it fixed before the warranty expires, but I want to be able to tell them to what to look for.

Did you try many different stations? I have that problem with a station and it only happens when I drive aggressively going to the gas station when the tank is less than 1/4 full.
