medik212 04-26-2006, 11:41 PM Any vendors have a PACKAGE that you can get with all the above and if so is there any interest out there to purchase such a package? This is the right time if year to do it guys. Maybe a vendor could price it with various temp. thermos. Thanks!
dilat3d 05-03-2006, 12:28 PM I'm curious about a fan delete GB or just prices in general... doing it myself in June
Motorspt 05-04-2006, 01:11 AM I could do a fan delete kit for $60.00 shipped. That would include 80 degrees Celsius thermostat, thermostat O-ring and gasket, 80/88 degrees Celsius fan switch and sealing ring. For another $55.00 I would include the updated metal impeller water pump. Let me know what you think.

de45t 05-04-2006, 04:27 PM what r the pros and cons of a fan delete in phoenix az where summer temps reach 125 degree weather from june to august??? would it be safer to just stick with the fan.
and about cooling kit great price, but what is the difference from your kit to the stuff i can get from the stealership chapman bmw, im an employee so i only pay 10 above cost or wholesale price?? im fairly new to the forum so fell free to give your opinion!
you can reply to de45t@yahoo.com
thx again
sorry if you feel im steeling your post not my intention i just need advise from the wiser!!!
jonjon0nline 05-04-2006, 05:01 PM You can always replace it with an electric fan if you're worried about the heat.
cragg56 05-04-2006, 06:16 PM im down for that
Motorspt 05-04-2006, 11:08 PM Ok guy for those of you that want to take part in this, I would prefer that you paypal me the $60.00 or if you want to include the water pump it would be $115. Please send your payment to boooost@hotmail.com. I would also need you to include the month and year your car was made just to insure you get the right parts. Once I receive your payment the parts will be shipped out the next business day.
Here is a little back ground on me. I work for a small high line car dealer in Charlotte NC. We have a whole sale account with a very large auto parts wholesaler hear in town, so we get some very good prices.
jonjon0nline 05-04-2006, 11:15 PM The admins might close this since you're not a vendor. Maybe talk to one to see if they'll allow it?

Main PRO is there's no fan clutch to fail and shatter your radiator. You MAY get a little performance improvement. The main time you'll have some problems with this mod is if you're in stop and go traffic where there isn't much air flow. A solution would be to get the Spal fan from the GB that just happened. You may still be able to get an electric fan for $100, which is a really good price. You should still do the fan delete with this fan.
ElSupremo 05-06-2006, 03:46 AM Anyone who wants a fan delete should check out bimmerparts.com, a supporting vendor here. For around $72 you get everything but water wetter. And by everything I mean the aluminum t-stat housing is included. Most other places charge more than $72 for the delete kit, then another $25 for the housing.
You won't find a better deal. We've tried GB's before but nobody has come close to their regular price.
They also have really quick shipping.
