Can anyone tell me information about owner (privately by pm if preferred). Is it a young driver? Well maintained, etc. I am interested in this car, and, would probably put it in storage ...

...........unless a bf.c member has extra space at their home ... I would be willing to allow the person to drive it occasionally to keep it running well ;)

p.s. Mahalo nui loa to the bimmerforums member that mailed out a real estate package to me. You did not put your name; but, I will be sending a thank you package very shortly.

I REALLY appreciate it. I also appreciate all of the advice on the vacation rentals. I am still trying to coordinate things; but, I plan on doing 5 nights Oahu, 5 nights Hawaii, and 5 nights on Kauai or Maui.

Since I am paying for the trip -- depends on total costs. I already booked the tickets this week. Bringing 12 people and trying to coordinate everything is insane

No one gives kama'aina discounts anymore :( -- all of the vacation rentals appear to be owned by mainlanders .... How sad.

Bryan - thanks for the advice. I will be contacting that real estate agent. Thanks again guys!

This one looked interesting and appeared on craigslist a couple of days ago.

Depending on where you are at now, you may be better off purchasing up there, test driving, and inspecting the car up there and paying to have it shipped back here. The inventory on the mainland is much greater there and results in much better pricing for the buyer as compared to the inventory here. You will probably still come out ahead.....Something to consider...:dunno

I've seen that 5er with the M5 wheels in Pearl City/Aiea on occassion (usually in the middle of the day), but I have not seen the driver.

That car has also been in Island Previews for quite a while. The location listed is Waialae Iki and there was also an E46 for sale. Check the link as there is another '01 530i right under it with the M5 wheels and it has the sport package.

If you or anyone needs car storage, I have a friend who has a very large semi-subterranian, climate controlled garage here on Maui. He is looking to lease out some of the space to help off set the construction/mortgage costs.

Naw, Steve is just into his toys. In the last two months he has bought an E36 M3 and an E46 325it.

thanks ronin -- can you pm me how much your associate would charge? Ideally, would like to store on Oahu since I am waiting to buy some property there -- going to look in august for a couple of weeks. I'll also be stopping off on the big island and kauai to take a look at property as well. Plan on spending 6 days on each place to look. That should give me enough time. I was going to stop off on maui; but, I figure real estate there is fairly high ...
