So one of my last posts around 4 or so months ago was about racing my roommates turbo 240sx. Right now he's got a stock sr-20 (t-25) turbo, sidemount, and injectors (maybe, i know they're upgraded just not sure if they're out of an sr-20). he's also got intake, z32 maf, and some kind of exhaust not sure of size. Right now at 7lbs he's somewhere around 190-200 rwhp, and at an accidental 10lbs he dynoed (fyi he had a intake feed, instead of a vaccuum on his blow off valve and was making his turbo spike to 10 is something that he wasn't trying for but he rushed his install and dyno time) 210rwhp and 242tq.

Anyhow, so my cars been out of commission due to me SOMEHOW managing to completely shear off all the bolts that hold my flywheel together and seperating it in two(which not many ppl have heard of on a "stock" car). So tonight we're both in good spirits and my car just being done and finally running in good form, we decide to go out and run the two from 2nd gear roll-on.

its him in front and me behind him, and 3 of our friends in an evo VIII behind me. We go at it twice with me about 3-4k in second and intially he pulls about 1/2 a car (damn tq) and shifting to third he gains about another. He pulled about a full cl topping out third around 6k. at the top of the rpms though our cars were DEAD even.

Now its on to some m3 cams....just need the $$$ first.

So was it an sr20det or a ka24det? I just came from the land of nissans and the S13/S14 both weigh in around 2650-2750. Most ka-t kits i've seen put 220+ to the wheels and the cars are geared rather agressively (3.9X ring gear). Even if it was a swapped stock sr20det, the car should pull 100mph + traps. I think it'll take a little more than m3 cams for you to pull on the guy (unless he can't drive).

I agree you might need more than M3 cams. By the way How much you selling your exhaust for?

+3 on more then juss M3 cams...

its a ka-T...so its still a ka24, stock motor just the turbo off of an sr-20...he likes having the advantage of .4 liters of displacement, plus he did his swap for only $1k....and i don't think i'll need more than the cams to beat him at 7lbs, maybe when he hits 10lbs. He only pulled a c/l between two gears.
