I am pretty sure if a vendor can start a group buy on these again, they will attract a lot of business. right now they can be had for $295 shipped, but if a vendor can do better, i am pretty sure there will be a high demand due to the fact that there has been so much positive feedback about these as stock replacements.

good luck finding them in stock at all. I've tried ordering from about 4 or 5 different places and have finally received the fronts (after 3 weeks). Waiting on a place to send me the rears. Supposedly Monroe is bringing these back, but their production line must not be going yet.

I would like a set too. I would be in for a GB or even some info as to where I could order them now. If anyone one knows please let me know.

http://www.monroe.com

not a whole lot of info out there besides the manufacturer's site and a handful of experiences here.

use the model lookup, there's only one for BMW's that I've checked - the Sensa-Track line.

These are pretty much going to be equivalent to stock OEM replacements, but with a lifetime warranty (and thus theoretically will last longer as well).

mikea128, did you get any word on when they'd be delivered from autopartsgiant?

I ordered a set from them too, not cheap and their customer service seems to suck. They never pick up calls and still havent replied to my email asking if it was shipped or not. They only replied to the first email asking if they were available.

that's pretty much what happened to me. i did finally get an email response yesterday saying it had shipped, so that's a good sign. but no tracking info and they haven't responded to my request for that information either. we'll wait and see i guess...

I got sick of waiting and called up auto parts store customer service.

My order was placed on 4/22

No email updates or shipment notifications from them.

The guy said the system shows it is "in processing" and he thinks that it has already been shipped out. I said that what he thinks isnt good enough and that my stuff could just be sitting around.

He then says that it is dependent on the "warehouse" and that theres no way of me contacting them because they have no customer service.

My creditcard has already been charged on the day that I ordered it, and nothing, my order is just "processing". What a load of crap. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he says that the supervisor isnt in.

Any of you waiting looking to order from the autopartsstore or autopartsgiant might want to hold off and wait for a reputable vendor to step in. These idiots have no idea what they're doing.

I got the email yesterday saying that it had been shipped. For something that was ordered on 4/22 and was in stock, they sure do take their sweet ass time.

Hope they come in soon..

I put monroe struts in my e36 this week. suspension feels great so far. I had no wait for them, order them from a local parts store and they where at the store within and hour.
