so i was rereading an road and track a couple days ago and stumbled across a long forgotten article about a spectacular photo documentary of 12 Hours of Sebring 1970. very nice coffee table type book. lighter on the words, he uses the pictures to tell most of the story (which is commented on but the likes of mario andretti) excellently priced as well ay $24.95.

but... it gets better. right after reading the article i went ahead and called the phone numebr to order a copy. the phone was answered not by a secretary or customer service, but by the author himself, Harry Hurst. so i got to chat with the author for a little. more importantly though was the information he provided on two other books he was writing: 12 Hours of Sebring 1965 ($35.95) which will be on sale May 15th, i was the first to order it :D ; the other book was a rereleased special edition of 1970, signed by Mario Andretti. like hand signed not stamped on there. sadly this copy wont be availiable until late June early July.

these are LIMITED EDITION. there will be very very few published, theres only a couple hundred of the 1970 version and i dont think there will be anymore. i thought id let you guys about this becasue im sure the members hanging out in this forum might want to get their hands on these more than the general populus.

so heres the website you can order the 1970 version from, call him to request the other two. www.glorydaysofracing.com

hope you enjoy it as much as i do.
