Alonso and Raikonnen FTW I dont' know...Their qualifying times were pretty poor, the bridgestones seem to be doing really good at imola. You should go to Duke. :shifty auto_pilot 04-22-2006, 06:55 PM Nothing like home field advantage...but reliability remains to be seen. JuliusPleaser 04-22-2006, 07:24 PM I dont' know...Their qualifying times were pretty poor, the bridgestones seem to be doing really good at imola. They're running heavy fuel loads. The race will be a different story. dinomite 04-22-2006, 08:20 PM I dont' know...Their qualifying times were pretty poor, the bridgestones seem to be doing really good at imola. Inside Grand Prix said that Ferrari had a new suspension for this race that's supposed to heat the tires more quickly, which would greatly improve their qualifying. MBENZF1 04-22-2006, 08:49 PM he didn't deserve to break that record.....Senna set that record in like half the time and if he didn't die it would have been like 100. S.Lang 04-23-2006, 12:49 AM Thanks for the **spoiler** in the thread title. :nono CaracasE30 04-23-2006, 01:02 AM What time is the race on Speed? I cant find it on their schedule. Bane2871 04-23-2006, 08:42 AM IT appears that the race doesn't air until next weekend on Speed. The networks are carrying this race. Dunno which network nor at what time though. :dunno Edit: Found it. 1:00pm (EDT?) on CBS. DeanP 04-23-2006, 08:55 AM Is anyone else following the race on F1's live timing? It is shaping up to be a very good race. SPOILERS LIKELY TO FOLLOW - STOP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW MORE!!!!!!!!! JuliusPleaser 04-23-2006, 09:19 AM Got a link? DeanP 04-23-2006, 09:29 AM http://www.formula1.com/race/livetiming/754.html You have to sign up, but it's free. metale 04-23-2006, 10:19 AM Damn, what a race... Alonso did hold pretty well behind MS, considering that he was messing with his airflow (aerodynamics, brake cooling, engine cooling, air intake, etc). I was surprised that his engine didn't blow. His tires were pretty messed up tho, thanks to all that braking without enough downforce. Over all, nice job from alonso, he just lost 2 points. His team should have sent him in earlier tho, he lost way too much time behind MS. Weak race from the BMWs :( I can't belive Ide had the nerves to go back into the track, after sending albers into that roll-over. He even managed to slow down quite a few front cars after that. What the hell's wrong with that guy... :confused DeanP 04-23-2006, 10:51 AM I was glad MS won. And I was glad that some one made Renault get out of their grove and try something different. Ferrari has gotten them to break stride, now we will see who is on their game for the next race. I hope to able to see this afternoon on TV. The middle section of races seems like it will be a blast to watch. Sherman321 04-23-2006, 12:54 PM he didn't deserve to break that record.....Senna set that record in like half the time and if he didn't die it would have been like 100. Coulda, shoulda, woulda. The fact is that MS holds pretty much every F1 record. If he doesnt deserve them, who does? I still think he's one of the all time bests. cmax 04-23-2006, 02:07 PM Wow, Derek Daily is an idiot. I hate the CBS coverage. BETO 04-24-2006, 01:38 PM he didn't deserve to break that record.....Senna set that record in like half the time and if he didn't die it would have been like 100. Please, how many times we are going to beat this "dead" (for real) horse. Senna is gone, he set a record and that's it. Records are made to be broken. If MS, 7-times champion, doesn't deserve it, who else? Kimi? Congrats to MS, and I hope he keeps braking records.:alright |
