Has anyone ever used this product? http://www.autogeek.net/3mperswirmar.html

I have a friend who has a black VW and was thinking of using this product. She has light scratches and swirl marks on the car and I was wondering if this 3M stuff would work/help.

I was going to help detail her car: wash, clay, (this 3M stuff) then wax or sealant.

It says that its for black, red and dark colored cars so, think it would work? Or can anyone else with a dark color car recommend something better.

Thanks

Why do some compounds say for "Red/Black" cars? I know red and black show paint imperfections the most; are they just saying the product is so abrasive it can make the high maintenance colors look perfect? :dunno

I don't know why exactly it says only use on dark colord cars. but I use meguires prof glaze on my black car and it works good. its kind of like a oily polish...I don't know the best way to describe it but use the last thing before you wax
